  • “Megan has been such an integral part of my book writing journey. Her wisdom and guidance has not only helped me uncover my life’s work, but she has also helped me believe in myself. The container Megan provides as a trauma informed book coach allows me to dig deep while feeling safe and supported.”

    Leesha Mony

  • “If any of you even have an inkling of a desire to write a book.. work with Megan. As she says, ‘you don’t have to write alone.’ She has been a faithful companion for my writing journey. Her wisdom, presence, and guidance has allowed me to find the courage I didn’t know I had or needed to write these stories.”

    Katherine Sleadd

  • “I had just embarked on the journey of writing a book when I came across Megan's group program. Now, I have a manuscript that is almost ready to query to agents less than a year since I started it. Thank you so much Megan for being the best book coach and editor that a writer could ever begin to ask for.”

Hi, I’m Megan

Welcome! I am so glad you have dropped by. I am Megan Febuary, Author, Trauma-informed Writing Coach, Editor, and Creative Mentor. I am also the founder of the literary magazine For Women Who Roar, which has featured thousands of women worldwide, and the creator of Human Design for Writers.

My passion for storytelling began at a young age when I found the power of creative expression through writing, art, and music to help heal trauma and uncover the lost voice. This led me to research the power of creative expression to heal past pain. With a background in narrative-focused trauma care and embodied storytelling, I received my M.A. from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, emphasizing The Body is a Storyteller: Trauma, Body, and Integration. In my work with writers, I weave these Narrative Therapy studies and Story Work to help them craft their stories and write their sacred first drafts.

I am also the published author of the For Women Who Roar poetry collection. My second book, Brave The Page: How Writing Our Hard Stories Brings Healing and Wholeness, is now available for preorder!
